Jon Weber’s journey began in 1989 as a U of O graduate in search of life’s next big adventure. Mountain-living had always been the dream, so naturally the skier and outdoor enthusiast moved to Park City, Utah to work as a golf instructor in the summer and bartender in the winter to keep his days free to make turns on the hill. Jon trained on both sides of the bar, learning to fill a pint glass almost as quickly as he could empty one. But beers and bogeys only magnified the urge to wander and after 4 years in the Wasatch Jon left Utah to continue the search.

The road finally led to Bend in 1993 with his new wife, for Tamara and Jon, Bend was the perfect place to pump the brakes, start a family and raise their two children. Endless backcountry lined with trails and streams fueled their passion for extreme sports. Days spent mountain biking or skiing turned into nights managing some of Bend’s finest restaurants. But something was missing… a place to hang out in between; a place to relax, reload and watch the sports that really mattered to Central Oregonians. So after years of helping others build their dreams, Jon started a new journey and opened J-DUB in March of 2016.

Today, J-DUB offers the best of what nearly three decades in the adventure town food industry has to offer. Hearty burgers and stacked sandwiches to beat back the hunger after a hard day on the mountain. Or crispy-fresh salads that won’t weigh you down. J-DUB has something for everyone, even that little ripper that can be hard to please.
